Early life and family
Saras Dewi full name L.G. Saraswati Putri who was born in Denpasar, Bali. He is the eldest of ten children of the couple and also Lilik Nyoman Dhamantra Kelana Princess of different beliefs. After graduating high school, Saras pick Department of Philosophy at the University of Indonesia. From the undergraduate to the title of doctor, Saras consistent with deep philosophy. He then married together with musicians from the band’s guitarist Neutral, Christopher Bollemeyer.

Singer
In 2002, he launched the album with Star Records label, with the single “Violet Bali” and the album title Chrysan. The album was nominated for an AMI Award (Anugerah Musik Indonesia) in the category, Best Ballad, and Best Single. In 2014, Saras along with other Balinese artists singing together for movement Bali Reject Reclamation.

From the undergraduate to the title of doctor, Saras remain consistent with deep philosophy. In 2001 he gained a scholarship to S3 level but with and bondage. The first time invited to teach the girl Arivia to be his assistant during two semesters before finally gained the confidence to hold its own class.
He began his career as a outstanding faculty there since 2006, and in 2009 became professor of Civil Servants for the Faculty of Humanities, University of Indonesia. Now he serves as Chairman of the Philosophy of Science Program. He taught courses in existentialism, eastern philosophy and environmental ethics. In July 2013, he successfully completed the doctoral program at the age of 29 years.
Writer and activist
Has published four books, the first one is no literature collection of poems under the title “Soul White” in 2004, the second book is non-fiction book about “Human Rights” published in 2006 by the UI Press in cooperation with the European Union, while the third book entitled “Love is not Brown” published in 2010 and newly published in 2015 entitled “Ekofenomenologi”.
His writing as a columnist filled in various media, including Media Indonesia, Jawa Pos, Bali Post, Media Hindu, Raditya, Nusa Tenggara Post. He wrote extensively on the themes of social, cultural and political well. In addition, he often sends poems and was published by the Media Indonesia and Bali Post.
